Farming today can be very lucrative given global demand for corn, soybeans, and meat. But farming is a gamble also. Think about drought, pestilence, and other hazards. It’s a tough business.

True….the wemmez faults are many…but they’ll tell us we menfolk only have two…everything we say and everything we do.
Albert Sahs used to say…”Buy low, sell high, and marry bread and you will be a success in life, ” (including farming…). Of course, he also was known to remark…”Any hubby who wants a happy marriage should learn to keep his mouth shut and his wallet open…”
