Taxes

When I was a CPA, late January initiated “busy season”.  The term speaks for itself.  The CPA busy season ran until April 15.

If you are business owner or individual who files a tax return, please watch your mail for tax records:  W-2’s, Form 1099’s, Form 1099-G’s (if you’re a gambler), Schedule K-1’s (if you own a piece of a business), etc.

The list goes on and on.

My point?  Carefully watch your mail.  Gather those tax documents.  Contact your professional advisor (e.g. CPA and/or tax attorney) to schedule a meeting.

Tax matters can be confusing .  They even are confusing to CPAs and the IRS.  (I’ve seen “tax fights”.  They are confusing to all parties.)
