You are approaching a busy intersection and enter the left turn lane (to turn left, of course) with a green light. Oncoming traffic prevents you from turning immediately, so you hit the brakes.

Can you legally enter the intersection and complete your left turn when the light turns yellow and oncoming traffic stops?
