Tim Armstrong

I recently read an article about Tim Armstrong, who has worked for Google and AOL. It details corporate decision-making and strategies, and I found it interesting–mostly because it’s a readable and informative story. And if you’re like me, you enjoy stories …

Reading it took me about 30 minutes; therefore, many of you will not take time to read it because you don’t have 30 extra seconds–let alone 30 minutes.  In fact, you’ll probably scroll off this page about … right …. now.

However, I recommend it because it provoked my thinking about how people and unforeseen circumstances impact corporate decision-making. If you own a business or advise business owners, I believe you’ll find it interesting–particularly how AOL sold patents to Facebook instead of suing Facebook over the same patents.  Now that’s problem-solving 101!
